{"id":170,"date":"2012-11-23T14:45:29","date_gmt":"2012-11-23T20:45:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/recipeforflavor.com\/?p=170"},"modified":"2013-01-05T17:25:31","modified_gmt":"2013-01-05T23:25:31","slug":"cheesy-mashed-potatos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipeforflavor.com\/?p=170","title":{"rendered":"Cheesy Mashed Potatoes"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"easyrecipe\">\t<link itemprop=\"image\" href=\"http:\/\/recipeforflavor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Cheesy-Mashed-Potatoes-1024x680.jpg\" \/> <span class=\"item ERName\">Cheesy Mashed Potatoes<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"ERClear\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"ERHead\">Author: <span class=\"author\">Derek Amato<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"ERHead\">Serves: <span class=\"yield\">4-5<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"ERIngredients\">\n<div class=\"ERIngredientsHeader\">Ingredients<\/div>\n<ul class=\"ingredients\">\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 pounds of potatoes, peeled and cut into small chunks<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/4 cup of unsalted butter<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 oz of cream cheese, cubed<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 5 oz can of evaporated milk<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 tsp of salt, or to taste<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/4 tsp of white pepper, or to taste<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/4 tsp of Tonys, or to taste<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 green onions, diced<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 cups of shredded medium cheddar cheese, divided<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 slices of cooked, crispy, crumbled bacon, optional<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERInstructions\">\n<div class=\"ERInstructionsHeader\">Instructions<\/div>\n<div class=\"instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Boil potatoes until fork tender, then drain.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">In a large bowl add the butter and cream cheese and mash.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Stir in the evaporated milk, green onions, salt, pepper, Tonys and 1\/2 of the cheddar cheese.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Move the contents to a buttered dish.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Cover and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Top with the remaining cheese and crumbled bacon then return to the oven uncovered to melt the cheese.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Serve hot.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERNutrition\"><\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"ERNotesHeader\">Notes<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERNotes\">\n<p>Any type of potatoes will do for this recipe.
